Add Address Book at Email Client

1. Open Thunderbird, from toolbars click “Tools” | “Options”

2. Choose “Compositions” | tab “Addressing” | check “Directory Server” | click “Edit Directories..”

3. From LDAP Directory Server window click “Add”

4. On tab “General”

Name : Arsena
Hostname : ldap-col.arsena.co.id
Base DN : ou=people,dc=arsena,dc=co,dc=id
Port number : 389
Bind DN : uid=kori,ou=people,dc=arsena,dc=co,dc=id
*uid = your email address without domain name
eg: email = kori@arsena.co.id >> uid = kori
5. Click tab Advance| fill on “Search filter” = (mail=*) | OK

6. Back to Options window choose Arsena for Directory server | OK

7. Try to compose mail, and type an email address. There will be occur “LDAP Server Password Required” please enter your email address password | check use manager to remember this password

8. If your Thunderbird already like this picture below, your address book ready to use now.

9. Finish
OUTLOOK
1. From toolbar click “Tools” | “Email Accounts”

2.Choose “Add new directory or address book” | “Next”

3. Choose “Internet Directory Service [LDAP]“ | “Next”

4. Enter ldap-col.arsena.co.id for “Server Name”
User Name : uid=kori,ou=people,dc=arsena,dc=co,dc=id
Password : your email address password
*uid = your email address without domain name
eg: email = kori@arsena.co.id uid = kori

5. Click More Settings, on tab “Connection”

Enter Arsena for “Display name” and 389 for “Port number” | “Ok”
6 Click tab Search enter ou=people,dc=arsena,dc=co,dc=id for Search Base | Apply | OK | Finish

7. For Outlook 2007 :
You can click “To” button on message window, if some emails occur when you type names your address book ready to use now.

For outlook 2003 :
Click “To” button | “Advance” | “Find”

On Display name type name of people | Ok

There will occur some email address on select names window
